Tune in on June 12 at 12 PM (ET) for a program of works by Fazil Say, Ravel, and more

We're coming to you from the Kronberg Academy in Kronberg im Taunus, Germany, for the weekly concert of the Kronberg Academy Young Virtuosi Series, featuring violinist Cosima Soulez Larivière. For this concert, Cosima is joined by cellist Ivan Skanavi and pianist Itai Navon.

Presently a student of Mihaela Martin at the Kronberg Academy, Franco-Dutch violinist Cosima Soulez Larivière has been awarded major prizes at various international competitions, including 3rd prize at the Joseph Joachim Competition in 2018, 1st prize at the inaugural Bartók World Competition & Festival in 2017, 1st prize at the Brahms Competition in 2015 and 3rd prize and the Bach prize at the Postacchini Competition, also in 2015. She has appeared in concert halls across the globe, including Concertgebouw, Wigmore Hall, Franz Liszt Academy in Europe, as well as other venues in Japan, Singapore and the United States. She has been invited to participate in festivals worldwide, including the Accademia Chigiana, Seiji Ozawa Academy, Ravinia Steans Institute, Verbier Festival Academy, Tanglewood Music Centre, and ‘Chamber Music Connects the World’ at the Kronberg Academy.

Every Wednesday at 12 PM (ET), audiences can watch an hour-long concert featuring the Kronberg Academy's students from the Professional Studies program and the Sir András Schiff Performance Program for Young Pianists. Recorded at the Carl Bechstein Hall, the recital programs were designed by the young artists themselves, and often feature their friends from the Academy’s Bachelor and Master programs performing alongside them.
